High Peak Pole Tents

High-peak pole tents are very festive and eye-catching.  They utilize center poles which support the main weight of the tent.  Ropes or ratchet straps are placed around the perimeter (and secured with stakes) to create tension and to pull the tent into shape.  The design of these tents allows for a “swoop” between the center poles that creates a unique, eye-catching, high-peak profile.  These tents are ideal for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and other elegant occasions.

These tents must be staked, they can not be held in place with weights. Since these tents must be staked they are best suited for grass applications.  They can be installed on asphalt, but we must drill holes in the asphalt for the stakes.

Traditional Pole Tents

Traditional pole tents are very versatile and can be used for many occasions.  They utilize center poles which support the main weight of the tent.  Ropes or ratchet straps are placed around the perimeter (and secured with stakes) to create tension and to pull the tent into shape.  The tent design between center poles is typically straight or flat (as opposed to the “swoop” of high-peak tents).  Traditional pole tents are typically striped and colorful.  These tents are ideal for corporate events, backyard parties, festivals, and other occasions.  These tents typically are lighter weight and are easier to install than high-peak pole tents, so they typically cost less to rent.

High Peak Frame Tents

High peak frame tents are very versatile because they can be installed on either grass or asphalt.  They utilize an aluminum frame and legs to support the main weight of the tent.  The high-peak on the tents use a cross-cable design that supports a pole to create the high-peak design.  These tents are typically smaller and are perfect for rehearsal dinners, backyard parties, corporate events, festivals, and other events.

Frame tents can be secured with weights or stakes. Since they can be secured using stakes (on grass) or weights (on asphalt) they provide more flexibility on which surfaces they can be installed on.  They can be installed on asphalt or brick without the need to drill by using weights to secure the tent.

Traditional Frame Tents

Traditional frame tents are very versatile because they can be installed on either grass or asphalt.  They utilize an aluminum frame and legs to support the main weight of the tent.  The roof-line of traditional frame tents is straight or flat.  These tents are typically larger and more heavy duty in design, thus they are a great option for longer term rentals.  These tents typically take more time to install and are a little more costly to rent.
